Load this wheel →How Spin Wheel Templates Work
Starting with a completely blank entries panel can cause hesitation. Our curated template gallery gives you instant, tested starting points for classroom activities, corporate presentations, party games, and everyday decisions. Clicking any template card above loads that starter list directly into the dedicated tool.
Customizing and Personalizing Starter Lists
Every template on swheel is fully editable. Once loaded into the wheel interface, you can:
- Edit, Add, or Remove Items: Replace sample names with your actual students or coworkers. Delete items you don't need or type additional lines.
- Add Weighted Odds: Want a specific outcome to have bonus chances? Append a weight tag like
[2x]or[3x]to the end of any line. The slice geometry scales instantly. - Add Emoji Icons: Make slices visually striking by appending a pipe character and an emoji (e.g.
Tacos | 🌮). - Clean Your Roster: Use the Shuffle button to randomize entry order, A–Z to sort alphabetically, or Dedupe to remove repeat submissions.
Saving and Sharing Your Configured Wheels
Unlike tools that lock template saving behind account walls, swheel encodes your customized wheel configuration directly into the URL fragment. When you finish customizing a template, click Copy share link in the Share panel. You can bookmark that link in your browser or text it to friends and colleagues. Whenever the link is opened, your exact entries, weights, and theme settings load immediately.
