The short version: your wheel entries never leave your device. swheel runs entirely in your browser. We have no accounts, no database of your lists, and no way to see what you spin.

What we store (on your device only)

  • Local storage: your current entries and settings (spin time, theme, volume) are saved in your own browser so the wheel is ready when you return. Clear your browser data and it's gone.
  • Share links: when you create a share link, your entries are encoded into the URL itself. We never receive or store a copy — the link is the storage.

What we don't do with your content

  • No accounts, no email collection, no roster or wheel entry uploads.
  • No tracking or server storage of your wheel entries or custom lists.
  • No sale or sharing of any personal data.

Third-party advertising and cookies

swheel works with third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, to support our free tools. These partners may use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on prior visits to our site or other websites across the internet.

  • Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads to users based on their visits to swheel.us and other sites on the web.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or Your Online Choices (for European users).

Consent for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Where required, we ask for consent before Google or another advertising partner stores or reads non-essential cookies or uses personal data for personalized advertising. You can accept, reject or manage choices in the consent message. You can change those choices later through the privacy-options link shown on the site. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law. swheel does not sell wheel entries or custom lists; those remain in your browser unless you choose to place them in a share link.

Ad placement statement

Advertising helps support the free service, but ads are not part of a wheel result. We do not ask users to click ads, and we do not intentionally place ads over the wheel, entry controls or winner buttons.

Standard hosting logs

Like every website, our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. These are technical logs, not profiles, and are not linked to your wheel content.

Children and classrooms

Because entries never leave the device and no accounts exist, swheel is suitable for classroom use. Teachers remain responsible for their own student-data policies, but no student information is transmitted to us by design.
