About SpinAWheel

SpinAWheel started with a simple frustration: every popular wheel of names on the internet came with a catch — ads plastered over the spin, essential features locked behind accounts, or entry lists quietly uploaded to someone's server. Teachers don't want ads next to their class list. Streamers don't want a paywall mid-raffle. And nobody's student roster belongs on a third-party server.

So we built the wheel we wanted to use: completely free, no signup, no ads, and private by architecture. Your entries never leave your browser — the wheel runs entirely on your device, saves to local storage, and shares through self-contained links. Features other tools charge for — weighted entries, embeds, remove-winner raffles, themes — are just… included.

What we believe

  • Fairness should be visible. Equal slices, true-to-odds weights, spins everyone can watch.
  • Free should mean free. No trials, no tiers, no “pro” wheel hiding the good parts.
  • Privacy is a design choice. We can't leak your entries because we never receive them.
  • Fast beats flashy. The wheel opens ready to spin and works even when your connection drops.

We are not wheelofnames.com. If you want that brand, use their site. SpinAWheel is a separate free name wheel — see the comparison.

Have an idea for the wheel, or found something we can improve? We'd love to hear it.
